How were the Jews fooled into going to these camps?

- i dont think they were fooled at all they simply had no choice
- they were told they were being taken to showers but they were fooled. its rele disgusting what happened
- They weren't fooled, they were forced by the Nazis if they were identified as Jewish. They were packed onto freight train cars like cattle & shipped to the camps.
- ... Er. Okay, so the Jews were forced to register with the state. They had to wear sewn-on Stars of David to identify themselves. Then they had to move to ghettoes. Then they were forced out of their homes, into trains, and into the concentration camps. There are many, many books about the Holocaust from the Jews' points of view. Some truly believed they were heading toward a better place, but many did know they were heading toward death.
- They weren't so much fooled as they were rounded up and put on railroad cattle cars at gunpoint. The story given out to the neighbors was that they were being taken to camps, but when the Jews never came back and the Jewish homes were looted no one said that those people were never coming back. That complicit behavior is why it wasn't just the ones in the SS or the Gestapo who were guilty, it was all those people in the towns who looked the other way when the Jews were marched off through the streets herded by gun wielding soldiers.
- In cattle cars under the direction of armed SS guards.
- They weren't. their homes were broken into and they were gathered up and taken to the camps.

- Trains. First they deported them to a ghetto, then on trucks to concentration camp. Some took cyanide on the way, some toughed it out, they weren't fooled, they were insisted upon at gunpoint.
- By cattle cars. They were forced into the camps. Originally they were set up to work the people to the limit of their endurance. They were fed as little as possible. But as the Germans conquered more and more of Europe, ever larger numbers of Jews had fallen into their hands. With the "final solution" that was reached at the Wansee Conference near Berlin, the Germans decided on genocide.
- They were told they were going to some kind of vacation camp. Then they were taken to the trains at gunpoint. By the way, a lot of jews were forced to live in gettho's ( only for jews) before they were sent to the camps. They were dehumanized little by little and received little to no help from other people. If you were a common jew, you didn't have all the resources you need to escape Hitler's forces so you had little or no choice, you just did as you were told and hoped for the best.
- Simple. They were gullible (or "socially conscious") enough to believe that only the government should own guns, as well as other forms of personal protection, bolstered by the belief that it's the government's job to protect it's citizens. As a result, by the time they realized what was going to happen to them, they had no ability to mount any kind of resistance, forceful or otherwise. Hitler was a firm believer in making the populace REGISTER THEIR PERSONAL WEAPONS, especially their guns. The only real reason behind such an enactment is so that the government can keep tabs on citizens due to the fear that an armed (and willful) citizenry can, and should, strive to keep the government in check against totalitarianism. Then, using the registration info, they first rounded-up all the armed citizens and took their arms, in order to break down popular resistance to the genocide the government was undertaking. After that, it was pretty easy to round-up the rest of the "sheeple" types and, well, the rest is history. And, because too many Americans today have the denial problem, as in "That could never happen HERE," that is exactly what is going on in the U.S. right now, in every state where a citizen is not allowed to arm themselves.
- Some had to walk in the snow to get there, alot of them died along the way. Some lost their limbs from frostbite, because they weren't wearing adequate clothing. These people started off in trains, then they were made to walk.I heard their interviews on HBO,it was so sad.A Jewish woman married the US soldier that came to their rescue, she resides here now. It's a shame what these Jewish people were put through.
- they weren't fooled.. they were herded up and crammed into trains and were given no choice.. it was evil.. absolutely evil...
- They were taken there by force in boxcars. They were not fooled. One of the major mysteries still remains as to why the Jews did not rise up and fight their incarceration even if they were held hostage by firearms. Seems possible that by sheer numbers that they could have overcome their captors at least a few times. But there is no evidence that they ever did so. Rather they were submissive. Chow!!
- The jews were taken to concentration camps mostly in train . They were fooled into thinking these were working camps or concentration centers where they would be held for an uncertain time. No harm done. Their annihilation was agreed and coordinated by the Nazis in the "Wansse Conference" in january 20, 1942,(see Internet)
- In this url there are many videos of how they were in the "Nazi death camps" http://mx.geocities.com/yahwehnatan/VIDEOS/VIDeos.html
- They were taken not by will but force. Read the book The Diary of Anne Frank honest it helps understand alot of what happened.
