Lost River Camps

Where are some good camping areas next to a river in California?

Like a place that's far into a Forrest. I'm trying to find the wilderness with my boys but I'm not sure where to go. A place that can be fished. Maybe with a 4x4 trail?

1. Well, that depends on where in Calif. you are. I am right next door to northern Calif. and there are some great rivers up here. There is the Sacramento river, the Feather river, the Klamath, the Mattole and Eel rivers as well. All provide good to great fishing and you should be able to get away from it all without too much trouble.
