Lost River Camps

Does anybody know where the best camping would be on the Guadalupe River near San Antonio?

or has anyone ever been tubing down the river. I want to go but dont know anybody who has ever been to tell me if its worth it or not.

1. Have you tried to access the Guadalupe River State Park? Here's the link.http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/spdest/findadest/parks/guadalupe_river/ Yes, tubing is worth it. If you go to an outfitters, they can usually give you information about falls and more dangerous areas.
2. I usually camp in New Braunfels just a little north of San Antonio on the Guadalupe. My favorite place is Mountain Breeze. They have the cleanest campsites, showers and bathrooms!! Plus you can rent your tubes and put in the river right behind their office and they'll come pick you up at the end of the day when you are ready. Their phone number is 830-964-2484. They are very friendly and their prices are great too!!!
