Lost River Camps

Has anyone been camping up the Murray river way?

Any suggestions as to what I need to take with me? I want to be prepared. cheers!

2. The Murray is a big river. What you need to take with you depends on where you are going, what you want to do and how close you are going to be to the nearest town. Generally take your normal camping gear and fishing tackle. Don't forget the Esky and the Aerogard.
3. When I lived in S.A. I used to go kayaking into the wetlands and pitch tent on a nice quiet sandy beach. The river has a unique feel to it and the sound of correllas squarking in the trees as the sun goes down with a beer in hand is golden. Apart from the usual stuff, tent, sleeping bag, food. Just remember it gets bloody cold out there at night so pack some warm clothes.
